Sekhmet

This week, I’ve been connecting with the High Priestess lineages of Sekhmet, particularly the High Priestess of Sekhmet in Karnak, ancient Egypt. It was there that a friend of mine visited and brought me the statue of Sekhmet in the image above.
I am but a vessel, a conduit to bridge and anchor cosmic codes under certain astrological alignments as they come through.
During this week’s Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, Sekhmet chose to come through.
She chose this portal. Synchronicities, visions, lucid dreams, and revelations filled my eclipse week—even a mysterious encounter with a bobcat, who pranced slowly, just a few steps away from me.
Curiously, as I was at the height of ceremony, anchoring Sekhmet’s codes during the eclipse, my partner, Stephen, received a random message from astrologer John Wadsworth in Egypt: "Whilst at Karnak, I said some prayers to Sekhmet in her shrine at the Temple of Ptah!"
There she was—confirming her presence loud and clear.

Stephen even discovered that our natal asteroid Sekhmet was conjunct the Lunar Eclipse! His natal Sekhmet conjunct the Eclipse Moon in Virgo, while mine was conjunct the Eclipse Sun in Pisces. Furthermore, Stephen also noticed that during this Eclipse, the transiting asteroid, Sekhmet, was conjunct my natal Vertex at 26° Aries! Sekhmet is undeniably here. So here I am, writing to you about Sekhmet while snow falls outside my window, and roses fill inside my home.
There is a bittersweet feeling to it all, a transition, a lifting of the veils.
As transiting Neptune reaches its 29-degree climax in Pisces, visions of what the future is calling me toward erupt within and around me. It is a profound awakening, one that paves the way for a new series, tv shows, world tours, a new home base, and so much more. This is the finalizing of an era, a transformation into what this butterfly is becoming next.
I am watching this transition unfold right before me: Raquel’s Rapture, through the eyes of a priestess. Happy Lunar Eclipse. —Raquel Spring. March 9—16, 2025
